Is another STEM high school necessary?
We don't think so. At least we're not interested in building one. Since the 1950s a significant amount of time, money and attention has been paid to science, technology and mathematics. In the process, the humanistic disciplines have been downplayed and neglected. It is our view that giving the humanities pride of place leads to a more complete education and lays a good foundation for specialization in college and/or a more "vocational" career.
